As outside general counsel to the USWNTPA, Rocky has worked with the Association on a varied set of business matters.  He counseled the USWNTPA during the transition to a new Collective Bargaining Agreement in 2017, and continues to work with the Association on a variety of new business ventures.  As outside general counsel to a Los Angeles based television and commercial producer, Rocky has counseled the company on merger/acquisition transactions, production and service agreements, agency agreements, and other strategic issues.  Additionally, Rocky holds experience working with emerging growth companies from formation to financing events and day-to-day operations.

Rocky also represents investors, which includes a family office involved in the financing and disposition of several large real estate projects, advising on investments in emerging growth technology companies, as well as the automotive and construction retail arenas.

Rocky also enjoys giving back to the community, and dedicates a significant amount of his time working with several pro bono clients, including, working with a client in the real estate arena, serving a coalition of the world's best female soccer players in seeking equal treatment from FIFA and the Canadian Soccer Association, and having served as the lead attorney for a domestic violence victim in a divorce and custody dispute. In addition to his pro-bono legal work, he is active in promoting the development of affordable housing, and in 2017 joined the board of directors of Hollywood Community Housing Corporation, which has developed and maintains over 800 affordable housing units in the LA area.

Prior to joining Acceleron, Rocky developed his corporate transactional practice at Locke Lord LLP, and was an associate at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP.  Before going into private practice, Rocky was a professional baseball player in the Seattle Mariners' farm system. He was drafted in the 28th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft.

A native of Los Angeles, Rocky lives in Silverlake with his wife and rescue dog.
